28th Annual Hannes Schneider Meister Cup
On March 7-9, 2025, we celebrate the 28th Hannes Schneider Meister Cup Race. Join the 10th Mountain Alpine Club in honoring the life of the renowned Austrian skimeister, and WWI Veteran, whose pioneering ski teaching brought excitement and prosperity to North Conway, NH and St. Anton, Austria and the world of skiing at large. 2025 Ninty-Pound Rucksack Challenge
Join us in participating in the 2025 Ninty-Pound Rucksack Challenge. This year marks the 80th Aniversary of the Battle of Riva Ridge, a pivotal moment in the history of the 10th Mountain Division. For those local to the North East, the 10th Mountain Alpine Club will be skiing up Whiteface Mountain with packs comprable to those carried by the Ski Troops in the 1940s. For more info, click HERE.
27th Adirondack International Mountainfest
The 27th Adirondack International Mountainfest will be held February 8 & 9, 2025 with an evening welcome party on February 7. Join us for all things winter in the mountains we call home!
Mountainfest hosts clinics for all levels in XCD (Cross Country Downhill), backcountry ski, mountaineering, & ice climbing lead by local guides & guest athletes. Clinic participants and the public are invited to take part in evening entertainment, music, raffles, and workshops. Patagonia WornWear will be onsite and able to complete (reasonable) mends to any of their brand gear/clothing!
All Mountainfest proceeds benefit local non-profits - Ausable Freshwater Center, Barkeaters Trails Alliance, ADK Action, and Adirondack Climbers Coalition.
